Winnie Wall has been an artist and a collector of fine art for many years. Her love of art began many years ago as a young child in Hong Kong. She was greatly influenced by her father, who was an art lover. He collected paintings for the family residence so that his children would learn to appreciate the finer things in life. He especially enjoyed the work of the French impressionists and always had books about them close at hand. At a young age, Winnie studied these books and was fascinated by these masters of color and light. In later years, she tried to emulate the techniques of these artists.

In recent years, as an art gallery owner, Winnie has traveled throughout the world collecting numerous works by both realists and impressionists. She has dedicated much of her time studying and developing her techniques and her own style of impressionism. She has been tutored by several experienced impressionists and has learned the finer points of working in acrylic.

She is challenged by a variety of subjects and her paintings are reflective of her world traveling experiences. She paints scenes of quaint European villages with blazing flower gardens to golden beaches and towering arches along the ocean coats. The changing seasons in the majestic mountains of Colorado, where she resides, also provide great subjects for her works.

Her paintings have been place in galleries across the nation for both the casual buyers as well as the collector. Her vibrant colors, values, and compositions have propelled her into a special class of new American impressionists.
