Luis Hebrero Born: 1958 – Torrejon de Aroz, Spain Luis Fernandez Hebrero is a highly trained artist formally educated at the prestigious Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Spain and the Taller Juan Valenzuela y Chacon. Each of Hebrero’s paintings are infused with a tremendous sense of color and light. At a young age he noted Cezanne as being one of his greatest artistic influences. By the mid 1970’s Hebrero’s own style had solidified and he had become one of Spain’s foremost master impressionists.

The subject of nature is a dominant theme in Hebrero’s paintings. The Mediterranean and the Iberian landscape of his youth are brought to life with his mastery of the palette knife and brush. In recent years, a favorite subject has been the still life. In whatever subject Hebrero is painting, he states that his principle objective is, “The search for emotions through color and light.” Luis Hebrero has exhibited and participated in more than fifty exhibitions in the United States, Spain and the U.K. He has won numerous awards and has been published in many prestigious publications. His work is found in collections worldwide.
